Located in downtown Naperville, there are two parking garages nearby. You can find a parking space. Gyu Kaku is usually not overly busy when we came a couple times. Service needs to be improved, more attention to the customers. Prices are the same as in Chicago, not unreasonable. Quality of food is good.
Gyu has easily become one of our favorite places in Naperville. The food is so freaking delicious. From the appetizers to the garlic noodles to the range of marinated beef. There's always something new to try and if you go during happy hour pricing it is a pretty great deal. We got a good amount of food for 2 and didn't spent too much. Overall it's somewhere we go frequently now
Came here for the first time and it was a nice experience. Our waitress was very friendly and explained how everything worked with the all you can eat. We left the place so full. I would come back and highly recommend to others to try it out.
This location is not as good as the one I visited in Chicago but still very good. They did not check in the grill often enough so it was not changed as frequently as it should have. Otherwise, the staff was nice and the food was tasty.
The food was ok, nothing stellar. This is my 2nd time going to this location, and it was still a so-so experience. I ordered the meat lover meal for 2. Miso soup was good, but the side salad had barely any dressing on it. I had to ask 3 people if I could get an extra dressing on the side only to find out there's some eggshells on my salad. The meat was ok very tiny portion ( 6 kinds ) and not much flavors to it. The meat sushi was tasteless, the meat slices on top of it are tough. I'm not sure if that has been sitting out for a long time, but I can tell it's not freshly made. Our waiter was very friendly but forgot to serve us our rice that comes with the meal, we are halfway done eating before they brought it to our table. At the end of the day, it was a bit expensive, and I am not sure if the portion of the meal is worth the price value.
A delightful Japanese barbecue experience. The interactive grill tables allow you to cook your own delicious cuts of meat and vegetables to perfection. The extensive menu offers a variety of flavors and sauces, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The attentive staff and cozy atmosphere make it a great place to gather with friends or family. Marinated short ribs are very good to go with rice. A definite must-visit for barbecue lovers!
5/5 experience at this all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot. Bradley, the manager, ensured everything was top-notch. The ambiance was inviting, the grill stations were clean, and the staff was super attentive. The variety of meats and accompanying sides were fresh and flavorful, making every bite a delight. Bradley's personal touch in ensuring everyone had a great time truly stood out. Highly recommend this place for a fantastic Korean BBQ feast!
We called ahead and we're told that they were busy but could seat us. Arrived in was flatly told that we would have to wait an hour. Restaurant was not super busy, so I'm assuming it was a staffing issue. Also noticed that the first table by the door was being used to store stuff. Overall, the location struck me as a poor imitation of the downtown Chicago restaurant. Didn't stick around to eat.
